BSG: Beatmungsentwöhnung nur nach vorheriger Gewöhnung
Im fortwährenden Streit um die Einrechnung von beatmungsfreien Intervallen in die kodierbaren Beatmungszeiten hat das BSG am 19.12.2017 entschieden (B 1 KR 18/17 R), dass beatmungsfreie Intervalle entsprechend der Deutschen Kodierrichtlinie (DKR) 1001 nur in die Beatmungszeit einzurechnen sind, sofern diese Intervalle einer Phase der Entwöhnung zuzurechnen sind. Letzteres ist nach Auffassung des BSG schon begrifflich nur der Fall, sofern zuvor eine Gewöhnung an die maschinelle Beatmung erfolgte.
